Terms of Use
Effective date: July 26, 2026 · Last updated: July 26, 2026
These Terms of Use govern the Bijon: Vision Board app and this website. The app license itself is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA; these Terms provide supplemental product and service terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using the Bijon: Vision Board app, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the applicable Apple licensing terms, including Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If you do not agree, please do not use Bijon.
2. Description of Bijon
Bijon is a private vision-board app. It lets one user create multiple visions on a personal board, add manual percentage-based progress updates, and begin the day with Morning Reflection — a private live-mirror ritual using the front camera. Bijon is not a task manager, habit tracker, social network, or AI coach.
3. License and permitted use
The Bijon app is licensed to you, not sold. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA, which applies to apps distributed through the App Store. These Terms supplement that license with product- and service-specific terms; they do not replace Apple’s Standard EULA.
4. Eligibility
You must be old enough to hold an Apple Account and to enter into these terms in your place of residence, and you must meet the App Store age rating that applies to Bijon. Where local law requires, a parent or guardian must consent to a minor’s use.
5. User-created content
Bijon stores the content you create — vision text, selected images, progress descriptions, and statements — locally on your device. You remain responsible for that content, including:
- Vision titles, statements, and reasons
- Images you select from your photo library
- Progress descriptions and morning statements
- Any other content you place in the app
You must have the right to use any images you select. Bijon does not claim ownership of your content.
6. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Use Bijon for unlawful purposes
- Store content that infringes the rights of others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
- Interfere with or disrupt the app, website, or related services
- Attempt to bypass subscription entitlement or payment
- Use the app to harm, harass, or deceive others
- Misrepresent an affiliation with Bijon or its developer
7. Subscriptions
Bijon offers weekly and monthly auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium access. For every subscription:
- The subscription duration and complete price are shown before purchase in Apple’s purchase screen
- Payment is charged through your Apple Account
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in accordance with Apple’s subscription process
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings
- Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription
- Restore Purchases is available inside the app
- Pricing may vary by storefront, currency, tax, and Apple’s configuration
- Access continues according to the current paid period and Apple’s transaction status
8. Introductory offers
Eligible new subscribers may receive a three-day introductory free trial. Eligibility is determined through Apple, and offers may not be available to every Apple ID. The renewal price is shown before you confirm the purchase, and the subscription becomes a paid subscription after the trial unless cancelled in accordance with Apple’s process.
9. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law. The developer cannot directly issue App Store refunds. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
10. Privacy
Your privacy matters. Please read the Bijon Privacy Policy to understand how the app handles your visions, photos, camera use, notifications, and subscriptions.
11. Availability and changes
We may improve, modify, or discontinue features of Bijon over time, subject to applicable law and your existing paid access. We will aim to keep the product description accurate as the app evolves.
12. No professional advice
Bijon is a personal reflection and organization tool. It does not provide:
- Medical advice or mental-health treatment
- Financial, investment, or legal advice
- Career, educational, or outcome guarantees
Progress in Bijon reflects your own manual entries. If you need professional help, please consult a qualified professional.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
Bijon is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Bijon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent and amount permitted by law. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. (This section is marked for legal review.)
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify the developer of Bijon against claims arising from your unlawful use of the app or your violation of these Terms. This obligation does not apply where prohibited by consumer-protection law. (This section is marked for legal review.)
16. Termination
You may stop using Bijon at any time. Access to the app or premium features may end if these Terms are materially violated — for example, attempts to bypass subscription entitlement — or if the service is discontinued, in each case subject to your legitimate subscription and consumer rights and Apple’s subscription handling.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s home jurisdiction (to be specified before publication), without depriving you of protections granted by mandatory law in your country of residence.
18. Apple-specific acknowledgement
For the Bijon iOS app distributed through the App Store:
- Apple is not responsible for the maintenance or support of Bijon; support is provided by the developer
- The app provider, not Apple, is responsible for the product and any claims relating to it
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable app license terms where required, and may enforce them against you
(This section is marked for legal review against Apple’s current minimum EULA terms.)
19. Changes to the Terms
These Terms are effective as of July 26, 2026. If we make material changes, we will update the text and the effective date on this page. Continued use of Bijon after a change means the updated Terms apply.
