Bijon: Become Your Future Self (“Bijon,” “the app,” “we,” or “us”) is a private morning identity app for iPhone. The short brand name is Bijon. Bijon’s core promise is: wake up to who you are becoming.

Bijon is operated by [LEGAL OPERATOR NAME]. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app and this website may store or process, how the camera and Morning Identity Alignment work, how widgets and alarms use limited local data, and how purchases are handled through Apple.

Bijon is designed as an offline-first, personal experience. No Bijon account is required, and no Bijon authentication system is used. This policy is an informational draft. It does not claim that Bijon has been independently assessed for full compliance with every privacy law in every jurisdiction. Final review by a qualified lawyer is recommended before public App Store release.

Bijon helps you create future identities or personal visions, record manual progress, and begin the day with Morning Identity Alignment. A personal vision board may be available as a supporting visual identity feature. Bijon is not primarily a vision-board application.

In the app, you may:

• Create future identities or personal visions
• Add up to the supported number of personal images
• Add a title, future statement, reason, optional category, optional target date, morning statement, and reflection questions
• Manually add percentage-based progress updates
• Include text, percentages, dates, and optional user-selected images in progress updates
• Use Morning Identity Alignment with optional live mirror
• Use a Future Self widget on supported Home or Lock Screens
• Choose Light Mode or Dark Mode

Bijon does not automatically determine or verify your progress. Progress percentages and descriptions are entered by you.

During onboarding, Bijon may ask for:

• Name
• Birthdate
• Optional email address

These details are used to personalize the in-app experience.

• No Bijon account is created
• The email is not used for email verification
• The email is not used for marketing
• The email cannot restore purchases or app data
• Name, birthdate, and email are stored locally on your device
• Birthdate may be used for local birthday personalization
• Age is calculated only when needed and is not permanently stored as a separate profile field
• Profile data is not displayed in the Future Self widget
• Profile data is not included in alarm or notification text
• Profile data is not intentionally included in analytics or diagnostic logs
• You may edit these details inside Bijon

Removing the app may remove locally stored profile information and app content, subject to ordinary iOS behavior and any device backup behavior controlled by Apple. Local storage does not provide guaranteed permanent retention. Uninstalling does not always delete information from every Apple backup or synced system.

Bijon is designed to store your app content locally on your device unless a verified production implementation shows otherwise. You control the content you enter. The following may be stored locally:

• Profile name
• Birthdate
• Optional email
• Future identity titles
• Future statements
• Reasons and descriptions
• Personal images selected by you
• Target dates
• Morning statements
• Reflection questions
• Progress percentages
• Progress descriptions
• Progress images
• Alarm settings
• Morning completion history
• Calendar statuses
• Widget snapshot information
• App preferences
• Subscription-entitlement display state where appropriate

This policy does not claim end-to-end encryption. Local information is not impossible for Apple, iCloud Backup, the operating system, another person with device access, or device-management software to access, depending on your device settings and who can use the device.

The front camera is used only to provide a live mirror during Morning Identity Alignment.

• Bijon does not photograph you
• Bijon does not record video
• Bijon does not save camera frames
• Bijon does not upload camera data
• Bijon does not analyze faces
• Bijon does not identify you through the camera
• Bijon does not analyze expressions, emotions, eye contact, or appearance
• The live mirror session is not stored
• Camera permission is optional
• You can complete Morning Identity Alignment using the camera-denied fallback

Morning Identity Alignment may invite you to speak a declaration or reflection. Hold duration measures interaction time only.

• Bijon does not record audio
• Bijon does not require microphone access for declaration or reflection
• Bijon does not use speech recognition
• Bijon does not transcribe your words
• Bijon does not verify whether the displayed statement was spoken
• Bijon does not analyze or upload spoken responses
• The press-and-hold control measures interaction time only

Typical hold durations are about five seconds for declaration and about fifteen seconds for reflection. Bijon does not verify what you say.

Morning Identity Alignment may include:

• Alarm or notification
• Declaration instructions
• Private front-camera live mirror
• Five-second press-and-hold declaration
• Fifteen-second press-and-hold reflection
• Reflection question
• Existing progress reveal

The app does not automatically add vision progress after a morning session. The app may record morning statuses such as Completed, Skipped, Missed, or Unfinished.

You can add images to future identities and progress updates from your photo library. Photo access happens when you initiate selection, using Apple’s photo-selection interface. Bijon receives only the images you intentionally choose. Selected images are stored locally with your content. You can remove an image or delete related content from within the app where supported.

You may choose to display future-identity information in a Home Screen or Lock Screen widget. Depending on the configured widget, it may show a title, image, statement, progress percentage, latest progress evidence, alarm time, or Morning Alignment status.

• Widget information is generated from a limited shared snapshot stored through an Apple App Group container
• The widget does not access camera data, audio, reflection answers, email, or birthdate
• Widget content may be visible to anyone who can view the device screen
• You should avoid displaying sensitive content when device privacy is a concern
• iOS may redact privacy-sensitive widget information depending on system settings
• Widget timeline updates are managed by iOS and may not occur immediately

Bijon does not claim that widgets update in real time.

Bijon requests notification or alarm authorization only to provide user-configured reminders and Morning Identity Alignment. Alarm or notification information may include the scheduled time, status, and actions such as Start Alignment, Skip Today, or Snooze.

• On supported versions of iOS, Bijon may use Apple’s AlarmKit
• On unsupported versions, Bijon may use local notifications
• Alarm and notification scheduling is handled on the device through Apple system services
• Bijon does not use alarm information for advertising
• You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings

Platform limitations apply:

• Bijon cannot block Control Center
• Bijon cannot prevent device shutdown
• Bijon cannot force the app to remain open
• Bijon cannot override all iOS system alarm controls
• Bijon cannot guarantee that you will wake up, hear an alert, or complete Morning Alignment
• Hold time counts only while Bijon is active and the relevant control is being pressed
• iOS may display system-controlled action labels such as Stop instead of Bijon’s preferred label
• Notification fallback behavior may differ from AlarmKit behavior

You should not rely on Bijon as your sole alarm for emergencies, medication, travel, childcare, employment, safety-critical events, or other time-sensitive obligations.

Bijon may offer a one-time three-day free preview of Pro functionality inside the app. The preview is managed by Bijon and is separate from Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime purchases.

• Bijon may store preview-start and preview-expiration information locally on the device
• Bijon may store whether the preview has already been used
• This information is used only to determine preview eligibility and access
• Bijon stores preview eligibility and expiration information using local iOS storage
• Starting the preview does not create a Bijon account
• Starting the preview does not create an Apple subscription
• Starting the preview does not collect payment information
• Bijon does not receive complete payment-card details
• Apple processes purchases separately when you choose a paid product
• Preview state is separate from profile information such as name, birthdate, and optional email

Removing or reinstalling the app does not guarantee that another preview will become available.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Bijon currently offers:

• Monthly auto-renewable subscription
• Yearly auto-renewable subscription
• Lifetime non-consumable purchase

You may purchase immediately without using the free preview. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Prices vary by country, currency, tax, and Apple storefront. For general reference only, recent United States storefront reference amounts have been about $7.99 monthly, $49.99 yearly, and $99.99 for Lifetime — these are not guaranteed global prices.

• Apple processes payment information
• Bijon does not receive your complete payment-card details
• Bijon receives or checks purchase and entitlement information required to unlock features
• Restore Purchases uses Apple’s StoreKit services
• Purchase records are associated with your Apple Account according to Apple’s systems

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through Apple Account subscription settings. The Yearly subscription does not include a free trial; the three-day free preview is separate and does not begin an Apple subscription. Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase and does not automatically renew.

Lifetime Access refers to access for the supported lifetime of the Bijon product and associated Apple Account purchase entitlement, subject to the Terms of Use, platform availability, legal requirements, and product discontinuation provisions. Refund requests and billing disputes are handled according to Apple’s policies. You manage subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings. Bijon does not directly charge credit cards. Deleting Bijon does not cancel an active Monthly or Yearly subscription.

Based on the current landing-page documentation and the absence of third-party analytics SDKs in this website project, Bijon does not intentionally send your future identities, statements, reflection content, personal images, name, birthdate, or email to an analytics service.

The iOS app codebase is not included in this repository. If a production AnalyticsService or Apple-provided diagnostics later transmit non-personal telemetry, that behavior should be re-audited and this section updated with the provider, categories of information, purpose, identity linkage, retention where known, and user controls.

Apple may still collect device, purchase, crash, App Store, or platform information through Apple’s own systems under Apple’s privacy policies. This policy does not claim that Apple collects nothing.

Based on the current documented production intent and the absence of advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs in this website project:

• Bijon does not sell personal information
• Bijon does not use profile or future-identity content for targeted advertising
• Bijon does not display third-party advertising
• Bijon does not use cross-app tracking
• Bijon does not share camera or spoken-reflection data with advertisers

Re-verify these statements against the shipping iOS binary before publication.

The production app, as described for this policy, may use Apple platform services such as:

• Apple App Store
• StoreKit
• AlarmKit
• WidgetKit
• App Intents
• UserNotifications
• Apple-provided purchase and entitlement systems

Apple may process information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. This policy does not list Firebase, Supabase, CloudKit, RevenueCat, Google Analytics, Meta, advertising networks, or AI services, because those providers are not integrated in the current landing-page project and are not claimed as production dependencies here. If any such service is later added to the shipping app, this section must be updated.

This Privacy Policy also covers the Bijon marketing website at https://bijon.app. A review of the current website project found:

• No contact forms or mailing-list forms
• No embedded marketing analytics scripts
• No cookie consent banner and no intentional tracking cookies
• No payment processing on the website
• No third-party advertising networks
• Fonts loaded through Next.js font optimization (Fraunces and Inter)
• Links to the Apple App Store and Apple’s Standard EULA
• A support mailto link that may point to a placeholder address until verified

The site is a Next.js application intended for deployment on a Node host such as Vercel. Hosting providers may generate ordinary server, CDN, or access logs (for example IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps) according to the host’s systems. Website privacy is therefore not identical to app-local storage. If analytics, forms, cookies, or other third-party scripts are added later, this section must be updated.

User-created content remains on the device until edited or deleted by you, removed through an in-app reset function if available, removed by deleting the app, or otherwise removed through iOS device management.

• You can edit or delete future identities, progress, alarms, and profile information inside the app where supported
• Deleting local app content does not cancel an Apple subscription
• Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription
• You must manage cancellation through your Apple Account settings
• Purchase history and billing information maintained by Apple are controlled by Apple
• Bijon cannot directly delete Apple’s purchase history
• Widget snapshots should be refreshed or removed when associated content is deleted
• Local data may exist in user-controlled device backups according to Apple’s backup settings

Because there is no Bijon account, there is no Bijon account-deletion process. You can delete locally stored information through the app or by uninstalling it, while subscriptions must be managed separately with Apple.

Bijon is intended for users who are legally able to agree to the Terms of Use or who use the app with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Bijon is not marketed as a children’s product.

• Bijon does not knowingly use profile email or birthdate for advertising
• Birthdate is collected locally for personalization and is not intended as identity verification
• Bijon does not use birthdate to confirm legal age
• Parents or guardians should review the app before allowing a minor to enter personal statements, images, or goals

This section does not invent a specific minimum age beyond what Apple Account rules, App Store age rating, and applicable law already require.

Bijon uses platform-provided storage and security capabilities. You are responsible for securing access to your device. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid entering highly sensitive information you would not want visible to another person with access to your device or widgets.

This policy does not claim military-grade, bank-grade, end-to-end, or zero-knowledge encryption.

You may:

• Review or edit local profile information
• Delete locally stored future identities and progress
• Disable camera access
• Disable notifications and alarms
• Remove widgets
• Manage subscriptions through Apple
• Delete the app and its local content, subject to device backup behavior

Because Bijon does not operate a Bijon cloud account for your identity content, some statutory request procedures that assume operator-held personal data may not apply to content that exists only on your device.

This policy does not claim full GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, UK GDPR, or Philippine Data Privacy Act compliance without a separate legal assessment.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the policy text and the Last Updated date on this page. Continued use of Bijon after a change means the updated policy applies, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
